As the year comes to a close, it’s a great time to look back and see where and what I’ve been doing. Being a photographer makes it a bit easier to look over the past year with accurate dates and even times! These are just some of the many photos and adventures I’ve been on….
January

A great start to the year covering the Havaianas Thong Challenge in Noosa.
February

A few hours west of Brisbane to cover the Chinchilla Melonfest where John Allwood broke a world record.

Urban Wakeboarding on the Gold Coast.

A week holiday to Vanuatu.
March

A 6 week holiday starting in Dubai.
Dubai Holiday Video.

Stage 2 of the holiday was a visit to Lenk, Switzerland.
Lenk, Switzerland Holiday Video.
April

After Switzerland, we spent 4 Weeks driving across France.
France Holiday Video.

This job was really difficult, not so much photographically speaking, but working with disabled children. Something inside you just ticks deep inside. Special thank you to Matt for helping out on this one.
May

In May I went and helped OzShotz to shoot a two day equestrian event at Maryborough.
June

I got to see one of my favourite comedy trios, Tripod, while covering an event.
July

Jal Joshua, from Australia’s got talent.

Got to meet a bunch of State of Origin players, past and present.
Mal Meninga & Alfie Langer

On stage with, The Living End.
August

I spent a few days with Carlton United Breweries and checking out some yet to be realeased beers.

I got to run around the Gabba while doing some shots for Vodaphone.

Got to see some weird and wonderful hairstyles at the GHD event in Brisbane.

Jon Landau (Producer of Titanic and Avatar), his Oscar and I at a 20th Century Fox event.

I finally got to photograph the Prime Minister while covering a conference on Hayman Island.
September

Shelley Craft (host of Australia’s Funniest Home Videos) MC’ing at an awards night.

I got to spend a few days away at Couran Cove with a group from Cadbury (yes, the chocolates… hmmm chocholates!)

Martin Wedding. I’m no wedding photographer, in fact, it scares me to even think of myself as a wedding photographer. But once in awhile a friend will beg and ask me to shoot their wedding and I can’t say no. This one I was lucky to get away as the videographer.. but I also had my cameras by my side aswell.

Yet another wedding! But this time I was roped into being the main photographer,
October

Choir of Unheard Voices. Another event I went to shoot that touched me inside.

I got to meet Michael Parkinson during his Australian Tour.
November

I got flown down to Melbourne to cover a conference. The final night included a Gala Dinner with opening act by Timomatic & Penny from So You Think You Can Dance.

Got to photograph the Prime Minister again, this time in Brisbane.

One of my clients is a large auctioneer group. This was taken from under the grandstand looking across where the vehicles drive past.

Finally got to visit Australia Zoo and managed to capture this guy flying around.
December

Yves Klein Blue performing at Breaka Poolies at Wet n Wild.
So looking back over the year, I had managed to visit Vanuatu, Dubai, Switzerland, France, Hayman Island and Melbourne. Met some fantastic people along the way and captured some memorable moments.
Before the year comes to an end, I’m yet to finish learning to kitesurf before I head off to Tokyo, Japan for NYE and then snowboarding in the Alps of Japan. Hopefully I will be returning in one piece so I can have many more adventures in 2010.
For now, have a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

I am jealous of your adventures and extremely impressed by your ability to determine an accurate timeline. If only I was so gifted. Keep on photoging!
